Arabic Teacher (Starting September 2026)

About the role

GEMS World Academy in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Arabic Teacher to join its dynamic learning community from September 2026. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality Arabic instruction aligned with UAE Ministry of Education (MOE) and Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Arabic lessons that meet MOE and ADEK curriculum requirements.
• Monitor student progress, analyse assessment data and adapt teaching strategies to improve outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement, assessments and reporting in line with school policies.
• Support departmental compliance with ADEK inspections and internal quality reviews.
• Promote UAE national identity, values and heritage through Arabic lessons and participation in cultural events.
• Collaborate with colleagues, contribute to school‑wide initiatives and engage parents in the learning process.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of teaching experience (approximately 24 months) in Arabic language education.
• Teaching qualification recognised by the UAE Ministry of Education and ADEK.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a data‑driven, student‑centred environment.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom atmosphere.
