Area Sales Manager – Handling Tools

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will represent NOV Rig Technologies – Mission product portfolio across the Middle East and Africa. The role focuses on building relationships, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service in the handling tools segment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact between NOV Mission and customers, understanding requirements and proposing value‑added solutions.
• Negotiate commercial terms, conduct direct sales activities, and deliver customer presentations.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline, achieve bookings and forecast targets, and provide regular updates on order status.
• Gather market intelligence, monitor competitor activity, and share insights with internal stakeholders.
• Represent NOV at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.

Required profile

• Extensive knowledge and experience in the upstream oil and gas sector, preferably with an OEM or drilling contractor.
• Working knowledge of handling tools and drilling consumables, pumps, valves, and pipe handling.
• Degree in a related engineering field or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven business development or sales experience within the oil and gas industry.
