Assistant Manager – Business Planning (Islamic Banking)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Business Planning will support Islamic Banking’s growth by analysing customer segments, portfolio performance and campaign effectiveness. This role combines data‑driven insights with strategic recommendations to help senior leadership achieve business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer segments and portfolios to identify growth opportunities, revenue drivers and business risks.
• Prepare regular management reports, scorecards and performance updates for senior leadership.
• Evaluate sales and marketing campaign effectiveness, measuring ROI, conversion rates and product uptake.
• Monitor portfolio metrics such as balances, profitability, customer behavior and attrition trends.
• Support development of business cases for new products, conducting financial analysis, forecasting and profitability assessments.
• Analyse customer transaction patterns to improve journeys, digital adoption and cross‑sell effectiveness.
• Assist strategic growth projects within Islamic Banking through market, competitor and customer research.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Banking, Data Analytics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in strategy, business analytics, growth, product analytics, financial analysis or banking analytics.
• Experience in retail banking or Islamic banking is preferred.
• Strong data interpretation and presentation skills, with the ability to translate analysis into actionable business recommendations.
