Assistant Manager – Events (Sales)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Events (Sales) will drive event, meeting, group and catering sales for Park Hyatt Dubai, converting enquiries into profitable business while delivering a personalized luxury experience. You will manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through post‑event follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to enquiries via phone, website, walk‑ins and referrals, qualifying and following up to secure bookings.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations and contracts that reflect client needs and the property’s luxury positioning.
• Optimize venue utilisation, upsell accommodation, catering, AV services and additional experiences to maximise revenue.
• Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies and repeat guests to generate referral business.
• Coordinate with Sales, Banquets, Culinary, Rooms, Finance, Engineering, Security and other departments to ensure seamless event delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Events Management, Sales or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in event sales, group coordination or catering sales, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Strong commercial awareness with a proven track record of meeting revenue targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with hotel sales systems such as Opera, Envision or similar CRM/event‑management platforms.
