Assistant Manager – IT Applications (UAE National)

About the role

This position offers a UAE National technology professional the chance to join a lean, high‑performing IT team that manages a broad portfolio of enterprise applications. You will work across application support, development, project delivery, vendor management and governance, gaining exposure to a wide range of systems and senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support, maintain and enhance a portfolio of 30+ business applications and technology solutions.
• Deliver system upgrades, enhancements, testing and full application lifecycle activities.
• Participate in application development, coding, debugging and performance optimisation.
• Coordinate with external vendors, implementation partners and service providers.
• Assist technology projects, implementations and business improvement initiatives.
• Maintain documentation, governance controls, audit readiness and compliance standards.
• Provide user support, knowledge transfer and training across business applications.

Required profile

• UAE National.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience supporting enterprise or business applications.
• Strong understanding of software development, databases and Windows/Linux environments.
• Experience with ERP, HRMS or similar enterprise platforms.
• Technical certifications such as ITIL, cloud or DevOps are advantageous.
