Assistant Manager - Risk Reporting & Model Management (UAE National)

About the role

This role supports the bank's model risk management and management-information agenda by performing ongoing model monitoring and producing accurate risk reports, and by developing automated dashboards. It turns model results and risk data into timely, clear and actionable insights for model owners, Risk Management, senior management and governance committees.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor credit, IFRS 9, ICAAP and other material risk models on a periodic basis, tracking stability, accuracy, calibration, discrimination, overrides, data quality, limitations and threshold breaches.
• Maintain the model inventory, monitoring calendar, issue log and remediation tracker, and support escalation to model owners and governance forums.
• Prepare ERM-wide risk reports and committee packs covering exposures, appetite, limits, KRIs and model performance, with trends, commentary and actions.
• Reconcile outputs to source data and keep version control, audit trails and evidence for reported results.
• Design and maintain ERM-wide dashboards for exposures, appetite, limits, KRIs, breaches, actions and model performance using Power BI/PowerApps, Excel and approved tools.
• Automate recurring data preparation, controls, risk reporting and dashboard refresh using Python, SQL, Power Query or equivalent, and document dashboard logic, data lineage, access controls and user guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5-8 years of experience in banking risk, model monitoring, analytics, risk reporting, MIS or dashboard development.
