Assistant Operator – Coiled Tubing

About the role

The Assistant Operator supports coiled tubing operations for oilfield services, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of interventions that boost well productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, assembling, and deploying coiled tubing equipment and tools for well interventions.
• Support operation of coiled tubing units by monitoring performance, pressure, flow rates, and helping with troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Rig up and rig down equipment on‑site while following safety procedures and operational standards.
• Participate in interventions such as cleanouts, perforating, logging, and stimulation treatments under supervision.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory, ensuring proper storage and inspection.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary education (12 years) in English, Mathematics or a science subject, or high school plus a coil tubing training certificate.
• At least 1 year of practical mechanical exposure as an Operator Assistant.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; basic computer awareness.

Required skills

• Coiled tubing equipment handling and basic troubleshooting.
• Microsoft Office suite – Word and Excel.
