The United Arab Emirates University is inviting applications for a faculty position in Ancient History of the Arabian Peninsula at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The university expects candidates to be committed to teaching excellence and student advising at undergraduate and graduate level, to build a funded research programme, to publish in refereed journals and to promote the growth of the university.

Required profile

• Earned doctorate in Ancient History (minimum qualification)
• Specialization in Ancient History of the Arabian Peninsula preferred
• Demonstrable research capability
• English is the language of instruction and communication
