Assistant Principal – Al Ghad Charter School (January start)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an Assistant Principal to join Al Ghad Charter School in Abu Dhabi, starting in January 2027. The role supports the school’s vision of developing courageous, innovative learners and ensures a safe, high‑quality teaching and learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and quality‑assure staff and student activities, maintaining a safe and orderly learning environment.
• Support and administer the annual school assessment and monitoring master schedule in collaboration with the senior leadership team and department heads.
• Collaborate with the Principal and Vice‑Principal to supervise and evaluate teachers, supervisors, and curriculum support staff.
• Lead screening and interviewing processes for both teaching and non‑teaching positions.
• Implement student achievement improvement initiatives as defined in the school development plan and ADEK regulations, including school improvement plans, standardized testing, remediation, data collection, and reporting.
• Direct the MAP/Exact Path student achievement plan, develop a progress‑based testing schedule with the assessment coordinator, and oversee assessment and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 72 months (6 years) of experience in educational leadership or a related role.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership teams.
