Assistant Transportation Manager

About the role

Join Hilton’s hospitality team as an Assistant Transportation Manager, where you will help deliver memorable guest experiences through efficient transportation services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily transportation operations, including guest transfers, airport pickups, hotel transfers, and team member transportation.
• Supervise, coordinate, and monitor drivers to ensure punctuality, professional conduct, and high service standards.
• Prepare driver duty rosters, vehicle schedules, and transportation plans based on operational requirements.
• Ensure all vehicles are clean, well‑maintained, roadworthy, and available for scheduled duties.
• Coordinate vehicle servicing, inspections, repairs, registration, and insurance renewals.
• Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle usage, mileage, and transportation‑related expenses.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle assignments, maintenance schedules, fuel usage, driver attendance, and incident reports.
• Handle transportation‑related complaints, delays, and operational issues promptly and professionally.
• Conduct regular briefings with drivers on safety, service standards, defensive driving, and customer service.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, HR, Engineering, and other departments to meet transportation requirements.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, performance monitoring, and development of transportation team members.
• Assist the Transportation Manager with budgeting, cost control, operational reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
