Associate Director, Advisory & Equity Capital Markets

About the role

The Associate Director will actively participate in all phases of corporate finance transactions, including M&A (buy‑side and sell‑side), IPOs, equity capital market activities and selected debt advisory mandates, to meet P&L targets aligned with FAB’s CIB strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Support origination and execution of corporate finance deals, interacting directly with clients and managing deal processes.
• Prepare marketing materials such as pitch books, information memoranda, investor presentations and term sheets.
• Develop complex financial models and conduct valuation analyses using DCF, LBO, DDM, public‑market and transaction multiples, as well as merger models.
• Evaluate business plans and project reports to support business development and mandate execution.
• Assist in financial, legal, risk and compliance reviews, due‑diligence and other transaction‑related administrative activities.
• Collaborate with client‑service and product teams to deliver superior client service and achieve corporate finance objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, commerce or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in investment banking or M&A, preferably with an international investment bank or a Big‑4 firm.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong negotiating ability.
• Solid understanding of accounting and financial statements, with the capacity to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
