Associate Director – Family Group & Diversified Conglomerates (UAE Nationals)

About the role

To manage large account portfolios and client relationships for the Family Groups & Conglomerates segment, improving service quality and client interactions while maintaining portfolio credit quality. The role requires high collaboration internally and externally, with outreach to local and international clients across different time zones and tight deadlines. A highly engaged professional will support internal processes to secure approvals quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day administrative and transactional activities such as client calls, payment processing, documentation follow‑up, account openings and pipeline updates.
• Manage KYC and compliance requirements in line with the Bank’s policies and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate client transactions, reviewing documentation, following up on approvals and ensuring smooth execution with internal teams.
• Maintain credit quality of client relationships within the portfolio to the level set by Bank management.
• Develop term sheets, information memorandums, mandate letters and other transaction documents.
• Ensure internal processes for existing portfolio and new‑to‑bank (NTB) clients meet Bank policies and procedures.
• Support relationship managers in originating new business opportunities across banking products.
• Assist in preparing accurate statements and reports, and manage NTB bookings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of the banking sector and FAB’s products and business strategies.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Strong computer proficiency and ability to analyze and research information.
• Proficiency with banking software systems.
• Data analysis and financial modelling skills.
• Credit analysis and FOREX skills.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in investment or corporate banking coverage.
