Associate Director, Priority Banking

About the role

Join Standard Chartered as an Associate Director in Priority Banking, leading client relationship management across the region. You will develop new relationships, onboard clients, and service an existing portfolio with strong communication, negotiation and customer service skills.

Key responsibilities

• Create strategic plans for revenue generation and business development while driving the Digital Agenda.
• Generate new business to meet targets for customer numbers, volumes, revenue, and product mix.
• Induct new-to-bank (NTB) customers brought in by branches and direct sales teams.
• Maintain sales MIS, including calls, prospects, attritions, and business outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with KYC/AML, detect suspicious transactions, and uphold anti‑bribery and financial crime policies.

Required profile

• Experienced sales and relationship manager with a background in banking and investment products.
• Strong communication, negotiation and leadership abilities.
• Good understanding of the UAE market and direct contacts with the local HNI community.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and collaborate with risk and control partners.
• In‑depth knowledge of capital markets and financial planning; SCA certification (or within 6 months).
