Associate Director, Wealth & Asset Management Consulting

About the role

The Associate Director will build and lead a high‑performing Risk & Regulatory Affairs practice for the wealth and asset management sector across the Middle East. Reporting to the Managing Director/Partner, the role combines practice development, client delivery and people leadership while acting as a trusted advisor to C‑suite and board‑level clients.

Key responsibilities

• Drive origination and growth of new engagements across private wealth, institutional asset management, family offices and sovereign wealth funds.
• Lead large‑scale regulatory transformation, risk‑framework implementation and operational resilience projects for asset managers, private banks and wealth platforms.
• Recruit, mentor and develop consulting talent within the practice, fostering an inclusive high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in risk, regulatory affairs, internal audit or compliance within financial services.
• Proven consulting experience at a Big 4 or specialist advisory firm serving wealth/asset management clients.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or MSc in Finance/Wealth Management strongly preferred.
• Fluent English (essential); Arabic highly desirable.
