Associate Professor of Finance (Tenure-Track)

About the role

New York University Abu Dhabi, in partnership with NYU Stern, is seeking an Associate Professor of Finance (tenured or tenure‑track) for the Stern School of Business at NYUAD. The position is aimed at scholars who are at or near the tenure decision point and who will contribute to research, teaching, and mentorship within a growing department.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high‑quality research and publish in top‑tier finance and economics journals.
• Teach and develop core and elective finance courses for graduate and MBA programs.
• Mentor junior faculty and provide senior research leadership within the department.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
• Established record of publications in leading finance/economics journals (e.g., Journal of Finance, JF, Review of Financial Studies).
• Demonstrated excellence in graduate or MBA‑level teaching and potential for faculty mentorship.
