About the role
NYU Abu Dhabi, in partnership with NYU Stern, is seeking an Associate Professor of Finance at the rank of tenured or tenure‑track for Stern at NYUAD. The appointment is aimed at scholars who are at or near the tenure decision point and who will contribute to the research and teaching mission of a growing business school.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct high‑quality research and publish in top‑tier finance and economics journals.
- Teach and develop core and elective finance courses for graduate and MBA programs.
- Mentor junior faculty and help shape the department’s research agenda.
Required profile
- Ph.D. in Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
- Established record of publications in leading finance journals (e.g., Journal of Finance, JF, JFE, RFS).
- Demonstrated excellence in graduate or MBA‑level teaching.
- Potential to provide research leadership and mentorship to junior colleagues.
