Audit Associate

About the role

The Internal Audit Associate will support Lunate’s internal audit function, helping evaluate internal controls, risk management and governance across the firm. This entry‑level position offers exposure to audit planning, execution and data‑driven analysis within a global alternative investment manager.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing internal audits, including risk assessments, scoping and testing procedures.
• Review financial and operational processes to identify control weaknesses and improvement opportunities.
• Document audit findings and prepare clear audit reports for management.
• Participate in risk identification and help develop risk‑based audit plans.
• Evaluate effectiveness of internal controls, test key controls and recommend enhancements.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and follow‑up on corrective actions.
• Use data‑analytics tools to analyse large data sets, detect trends and support continuous auditing.
• Collaborate with business units to understand processes and communicate findings professionally.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team.
