B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer – Business Jets

About the role

JMC Aviation is seeking an experienced B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join its business aviation operation in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on Challenger and Global series aircraft, requiring ownership of complex maintenance tasks and support for the engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, inspect, repair and perform mechanical and airframe maintenance on customer aircraft in line with approved data and regulations.
• Execute complex repairs on aircraft systems, conduct complete engine runs, and document all maintenance activities accurately.
• Supervise mechanics, release and sign‑off maintenance tasks, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Perform off‑site maintenance when required and assist with accurate maintenance time estimates.

Required profile

• GCAA and/or EASA Part‑66 B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence, type‑rated on Bombardier Challenger and/or Global aircraft.
• Minimum five years of experience on Challenger or Global aircraft, including complex maintenance and certification.
• Proven ability to supervise and mentor junior engineers and mechanics.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of Part‑66, Part‑M, Part‑145 and relevant human‑factors regulations.

Required skills

• Knowledge of EWIS and CDCCL.
• Mechanical and airframe maintenance expertise.
• Complex maintenance activities on aircraft systems.
• Interpretation of engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with standard and specialist tooling and ground support equipment.
