Badminton Coach

About the role

The Badminton Coach will join Kafou Sport in Sharjah to design and deliver structured training programmes for players of all ages and abilities. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on technical skill development, physical conditioning and competition preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct training sessions tailored to varying skill levels.
• Assess player performance and create individualized improvement plans.
• Organise practice drills and oversee tournament preparation.
• Ensure safe use of equipment and maintain a positive, inclusive training environment.
• Collaborate with management on schedules, programmes and development goals.
• Provide feedback to players and families and support promotional events.

Required profile

• Proven badminton coaching experience with diverse age groups.
• Recognised coaching certification in badminton or a related sport.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Commitment to athlete safety, ethical coaching practices and continuous development.
