Barista for New Time Out Market Opening

About the role

Join the launch team for Abu Dhabi's first Time Out Market and deliver exceptional coffee experiences to guests. As a Market Barista you will be the front‑line ambassador, ensuring every visit is memorable through friendly service and high‑quality beverages.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take orders accurately.
• Prepare and serve coffee, tea and specialty drinks following strict quality standards.
• Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders and other café equipment safely.
• Handle POS transactions, issue receipts and maintain cash accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary work area, adhering to HACCP and food‑safety procedures.
• Monitor stock levels of beans, milk, syrups and supplies; restock using FIFO principles.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including equipment cleaning and daily checks.
• Collaborate with team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year of direct barista or café experience.
• Familiarity with POS systems and drink recipe preparation.
• Experience in high‑volume environments, opening/closing shifts and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work quickly, maintain accuracy and follow health‑safety regulations.
