Barista

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Barista to join Cova Cafe in Ghayathi, Al Dhafra Region, Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will craft specialty coffee drinks, maintain high quality standards, and deliver excellent service in a busy café environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare espresso‑based and specialty coffee beverages consistently.
• Perform espresso extraction, grinder calibration, and milk steaming with latte art.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders and other café equipment.
• Handle POS transactions, take customer orders and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety and hygiene standards.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory control and place orders as needed.
• Provide professional customer service and support teammates during peak periods.

Required profile

• Previous barista experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of specialty coffee and equipment calibration.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Ghayathi and start soon.
