Barista – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Join the hospitality team at The Chedi Al Bait in Sharjah as a Barista. You will craft high‑quality coffee and specialty beverages while delivering warm, memorable service in a luxurious hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffees, teas and signature drinks.
• Demonstrate full knowledge of beverage menus, ingredients, preparation methods and presentation standards.
• Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately and provide personalized recommendations.
• Operate coffee machines and related equipment safely, keeping them clean and well‑maintained.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station, service counters and equipment.
• Receive, store and label coffee beans, milk, syrups and other consumables correctly.
• Conduct daily inventory of beverages, supplies and barista tools; restock stations with cups, utensils and ingredients.
• Report guest concerns promptly and follow hygiene, sanitation and safety standards at all times.
• Perform side duties and any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Required profile

• Prior experience as a Barista or in a guest‑facing food & beverage role.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation methods, espresso machine operation and beverage service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Presentable, well‑groomed appearance aligned with hotel standards.
• Proactive, positive attitude with strong teamwork skills.
