Hostess (Arabic Speaker) - DoubleTree by Hilton Sharjah

About the role

The DoubleTree by Hilton Sharjah Waterfront Hotel and Residences is looking for a Hostess fluent in Arabic to lead the guest arrival and seating experience and oversee daily banquet operations. The role spreads the warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable stays for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the guest arrival and seating experience, creating a warm and personalized first impression.
• Coordinate reservations, VIP arrivals, walk-ins and table allocations for smooth service flow.
• Anticipate guest needs and preferences, and deliver personalized Hilton hospitality.
• Lead and support the front-of-house team during busy periods, maintaining service standards and efficiency.
• Handle guest feedback and service recovery promptly, escalating complex concerns when needed.
• Coach team members on guest engagement, communication and service standards.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Kitchen and Front Office teams for a seamless guest journey.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and identify ways to improve the dining experience.
• Manage special occasions, VIP arrangements and guest requests with attention to detail.

Required profile

• Fluency in Arabic and English is a must; additional languages are an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is an advantage.
• Current or previous hotel experience is an advantage.
• Food & Beverage / Restaurant Operations training and Guest Service and Customer Experience training.
