Barista – Luxury Hotel & Residences

About the role

The InterContinental Dubai Marina Hotel & Residences is seeking a skilled Barista to deliver premium coffee and beverage experiences to its guests. You will work in a high‑energy, five‑star environment, building genuine relationships and ensuring every cup reflects the brand’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee, espresso‑based drinks, teas and specialty beverages with consistent quality and presentation.
• Build genuine guest relationships, anticipate preferences and create memorable experiences.
• Promote and upsell signature drinks, seasonal offerings and pastries to achieve revenue targets.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot coffee machines, grinders and barista equipment.
• Monitor inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups and other supplies, communicating replenishment needs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, hygiene and health‑and‑safety regulations.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of barista experience, preferably in a high‑end or luxury hospitality setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Outgoing, service‑focused personality with a passion for delivering excellence.
• Team‑player attitude, adaptable to varied tasks and able to support colleagues.

Required skills

• Coffee machine and grinder operation and maintenance.
