Bilingual Virtual Events Producer (English & Arabic)

About the role

Harvard Business Publishing (HBP) is looking for a Bilingual Virtual Events Producer fluent in English and Arabic to assist its Impact, Enterprise organization in producing and running live webinars and videoconference events for a portfolio of clients. This is a freelance, contract-based position with variable hours depending on the volume and schedule of client events, which are held throughout the day and outside normal business hours but generally not on weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end support for virtual live events, including setup, delivery, recording, wrap-up and reporting for selected client engagements.
• Give advance and real-time support to clients, facilitators, guest speakers and participants so they get a first-class experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical, scheduling and content issues in real time, and inform stakeholders of any changes needed.
• Create, deploy and report on in-event polls.
• Anticipate technology issues during event preparation and proactively solve them.

Required profile

• Proven track record of 5-7 years in a virtual producer role.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; French, Spanish or Portuguese is desirable.
• Flexibility to work in EMEA-aligned business hours and across time zones (AMER, EMEA, APAC).
• Legally authorized to work as a freelancer in the UAE; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, with executive presence, attention to detail and effective written and verbal communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Webex, Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
• MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) and Smartsheet.
• Working laptop with at least 4 GB RAM and an Intel Core i5 or equivalent processor (no Chromebooks), wired internet, headset with mic, two monitors and a minimalist background.
