BIM Plumbing Modeler – MEP & HVAC Specialist

About the role

The BIM Plumbing Modeler will create and manage detailed 3D models for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, including HVAC, up to LOD 450. The role involves clash detection, coordination with architects and engineers, and producing clear construction documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Create MEP and HVAC BIM models up to LOD 450 and perform clash detection.
• Prepare detailed MEP building services layouts and coordinate with design engineers.
• Check construction drawings for discrepancies, correct errors, and produce spot detail/shop drawings.
• Coordinate MEP drawings with architectural models and generate clash reports.
• Develop architectural and structural 3D models from 2D drawings.
• Produce render views and walkthrough videos for client presentations.
• Conduct site visits for as‑built measurements and extract BOQs and schedules for all MEP components.
• Utilise engineering sizing tools for pipes, ducts, cables, and related accessories.

Required profile

• Diploma in an engineering field, preferably mechanical.
• Strong background in both mechanical and electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of MEP and HVAC system components and their applications.
• Familiarity with ISO‑based policies and procedures adopted by CNS.
