Block Mason

About the role

The Block Mason will work on‑site in Abu Dhabi, laying and finishing concrete blocks, bricks and related masonry elements for walls, partitions and structural components. This full‑time position requires reading project drawings, collaborating with supervisors and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lay, align and finish concrete blocks and bricks according to specifications.
• Mix and apply mortar, cut and shape blocks as needed.
• Repair, renovate and restore existing masonry structures.
• Perform stonework, including cutting, shaping and finishing stone or similar materials.
• Read and follow construction drawings and site instructions.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work area in good condition.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental regulations on the construction site.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Block Mason or similar masonry role, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of concrete block laying, mortar preparation and brickwork.
• Ability to perform manual labour in outdoor conditions, including lifting and bending.
• Awareness of construction safety standards and regulatory compliance.
