Bookkeeper / Accounts Payable Associate

About the role

Skybound Wealth Management is seeking a Bookkeeper / Accounts Payable Associate to manage the day‑to‑day purchase ledger and bookkeeping functions. You will process supplier invoices, handle payments, reconcile accounts and support month‑end close, acting as a key point of contact for suppliers and internal expense submitters.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices end‑to‑end: verify, obtain approvals, code to the correct general‑ledger accounts and post promptly.
• Prepare and execute payment runs, including multi‑currency payments, ensuring suppliers are paid within agreed terms.
• Maintain the purchase ledger and produce aged creditors reports for the Finance Manager.
• Reconcile supplier statements, investigate discrepancies and manage the accounts‑payable inbox and supplier queries.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and currencies.
• Process employee expense claims and corporate‑card reconciliations in line with company policy.
• Maintain complete, orderly and audit‑ready accounting records and documentation.
• Identify and suggest improvements to finance processes and controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline (recent graduates welcome).
• Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles is desirable but not mandatory.
• Experience in financial services, professional services or regulated industries is a plus.
• Familiarity with multi‑currency transactions and international suppliers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including lookups and pivot tables.
