Bookkeeper & Accounts Payable Associate

About the role

Skybound Wealth Management is seeking a proactive Bookkeeper / Accounts Payable Associate to own the day‑to‑day purchase ledger and bookkeeping functions. You will process supplier invoices, manage payments, reconcile accounts and support month‑end close, acting as the primary point of contact for suppliers and internal expense submitters.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices end‑to‑end: verify, obtain approvals, code to the correct GL accounts and post promptly.
• Prepare and execute multi‑currency payment runs, ensuring suppliers are paid within agreed terms.
• Maintain the purchase ledger and produce aged creditors reports for the Finance Manager.
• Reconcile supplier statements, resolve discrepancies and manage the accounts payable inbox.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and currencies.
• Process employee expense claims and corporate card reconciliations in line with company policy.
• Keep accounting records orderly, audit‑ready and up‑to‑date.
• Identify and suggest improvements to finance processes and controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related discipline (recent graduates welcome).
• Relevant experience in bookkeeping or accounting is desirable but not mandatory.
• Experience in financial services, professional services or regulated industries is a plus.
• Exposure to multi‑currency transactions and international suppliers is advantageous.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including lookups and pivot tables.
• Comfortable using accounting software and able to learn new systems quickly.
