Boutique Manager - High Jewelry

About the role

David Webb is looking for a Boutique Manager in Abu Dhabi to lead its high jewelry boutique in one of the region's most dynamic luxury markets. The role combines strong sales ability, clienteling and leadership, and calls for an established book of UHNW clients across the UAE and a deep passion for high jewelry.

Key responsibilities

• Sales and business development: develop and execute plans to exceed high jewelry sales targets across the MENA region, leverage an existing UHNW client book and work with retail teams on assortment planning and stock development.
• Client relationship management: cultivate VVIP clients through bespoke experiences in art galleries, private members' clubs and exclusive events, and keep meticulous client records.
• Team leadership: recruit, train and coach the high jewelry team and broader retail teams, and set the highest standards of boutique presentation.
• Market insight: stay up to date on high jewelry trends and competitor activity and share feedback with regional and global teams on product development.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in high jewelry or ultra-luxury retail, with a proven record in sales, clienteling and boutique management.
• An established book of UHNW clients in the UAE and a consistent record of exceeding sales targets.
• Experience with heritage jewelry houses or established high jewelry maisons is essential.
• Fluency in both Chinese and Russian is required.

• Exceptional clienteling skills and deep knowledge of precious gemstones, rare materials and high jewelry craftsmanship.
• Ability to lead a boutique team and deliver a personalized, discreet service to UHNW clients.
