Business Development Executive – Freight & Specialized Logistics

About the role

TFI is expanding its presence in the UAE and seeks a high‑performing Business Development Executive to drive commercial growth and manage strategic accounts across General Cargo, Dangerous Goods, Out‑of‑Gauge and Cold‑Chain Pharmaceutical Logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and convert new B2B opportunities across the UAE logistics market to grow pipeline and revenue.
• Manage client inquiries and deliver GDP‑compliant transport solutions for temperature‑sensitive pharmaceutical and specialised cargo.
• Negotiate freight rates with carriers, airlines and overseas partners to create competitive proposals, RFQs and RFPs.
• Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts, build long‑term relationships and maximise profitability.
• Maintain pipeline visibility, forecasts and lead activity in the CRM to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
• Collaborate with operations, compliance and quality teams to ensure flawless execution and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of proven experience in freight forwarding sales or logistics business development in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of air and sea freight, general cargo and dangerous goods handling.
• Practical experience with GDP and cold‑chain pharmaceutical logistics is a strong advantage.
• Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and gross‑margin targets.
