Business Development Executive

About the role

Bidfood ME is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive sales and distribution within the HORECA channel across the UAE and Middle East. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, expanding existing accounts and acting as a brand ambassador for the company.

Key responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales, margin and distribution targets while tracking KPIs.
• Identify and engage potential foodservice customers through market mapping, lead generation and networking.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations and product tastings to showcase offerings.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships, uncovering upselling and cross‑selling opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts in line with margin and strategic goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and order fulfillment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management or related field.
• 2–4 years of B2B sales experience in foodservice, HORECA or FMCG.
• Existing network in the HORECA industry is a strong advantage.
• Valid UAE driving licence (if applicable).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or Zoho.
• Strong reporting and pipeline management abilities.
• Presentation and product demo skills, including food tasting knowledge.
