Business Development Executive - Payments & KYC Solutions

About the role

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is looking for a Business Development Executive to support the growth of its Payments and Financial Counterparty KYC solutions across the EMEA region. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships and contributing to revenue growth within a designated territory, working closely with cross-functional teams. Some travel may be required to meet clients and attend industry events.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage and develop relationships with prospective B2B clients.
• Carry out prospecting activities such as phone outreach, email campaigns, social selling, networking and industry events.
• Manage and qualify inbound leads within the assigned territory.
• Run consultative sales engagements, including product demonstrations, presentations and proposal responses.
• Communicate the value and business benefits of the solution portfolio.
• Manage commercial negotiations and support the contracting process.
• Monitor market developments, regulatory changes, industry trends and competition.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast.
• Use sales enablement and intelligence tools to improve effectiveness and productivity.

Required profile

• Professional proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Experience in B2B business development, sales or account management.
• Proven sales experience in SaaS or data, selling to financial services.
• Knowledge of international payments, KYC, compliance and financial crime is beneficial.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Salesforce and other CRM platforms is advantageous.
• Familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC is advantageous.
