Business Development Executive - Platform Sales

About the role

YottaGift is a marketplace for digital gift cards in the UAE and KSA, connecting consumers and businesses to digital gifting solutions, including loyalty programmes for telcos, banks and airlines. It is looking for a Business Development Executive (Platform Sales) for its UAE Sales team. This is a desk-based sales role focused on converting inbound enquiries, developing new business, growing existing SME customers and driving revenue through proactive sales engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate and close smaller business opportunities independently
• Convert inbound enquiries into new customers and first orders
• Manage and grow a portfolio of SME and lower-volume customers, increasing repeat orders and revenue
• Identify and develop larger or enterprise opportunities through outbound calls, email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and networking
• Conduct discovery conversations, present solutions and handle objections
• Maintain timely follow-up, a healthy sales pipeline and accurate CRM updates
• Track sales activity, conversion, revenue and pipeline against targets
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Sales team on larger opportunities and reactivate dormant customers

Required profile

• 2-5 years of experience in sales, business development, inside sales, telesales or a similar customer-facing commercial role
• Proven experience working against individual sales targets or revenue-based KPIs
• Experience generating, developing and converting sales opportunities, including outbound prospecting and lead conversion
• Strong telephone-based sales experience and ability to close business independently
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related discipline preferred
• Experience managing a portfolio of SME customers is an advantage; B2B sales experience preferred but not mandatory
