Business Development Executive – Testing Laboratory

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Executive to expand our testing laboratory services across the UAE. The role involves generating new client leads, understanding their testing requirements and coordinating with laboratory and technical teams to deliver appropriate solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for laboratory testing and related services across the UAE.
• Generate leads and acquire new clients through cold calling, networking, client visits, referrals and market research.
• Develop business with clients in food & beverage, hospitality, manufacturing, industrial, construction, facilities management and other relevant sectors.
• Understand clients' testing requirements and coordinate with the laboratory/technical team to provide suitable solutions and quotations.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals and commercial offers.
• Conduct regular client meetings and presentations to promote laboratory services.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities for additional services.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular reports on leads, client visits, quotations and business conversions.
• Monitor market developments and competitor activities to identify new sectors and potential customers.
• Coordinate internally with laboratory, operations and technical teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant business development or sales experience within a testing laboratory or closely related testing services industry.
• Previous experience selling laboratory testing services is strongly preferred.
• Good understanding of the UAE laboratory testing market and potential customer segments.
• Proven ability to generate leads, approach new clients and convert opportunities into business.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to understand technical service requirements and coordinate effectively with laboratory and technical teams.
• UAE market experience is preferred.
