Business Development Executive – UAE Tax & Cloud Accounting Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to promote Ledgers.cloud, our cloud‑based accounting and CRM platform, across the United Arab Emirates. You will identify new opportunities, build relationships with finance professionals, and guide prospects through the full sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals and lead‑generation activities.
• Demonstrate Ledgers.cloud’s accounting, CRM, invoicing, inventory, payroll and reporting features to prospective customers.
• Understand client processes and recommend software solutions that meet operational, accounting and compliance needs.
• Maintain relationships with business owners, finance managers, accountants and key decision‑makers.
• Manage the complete sales cycle: qualification, requirement gathering, proposal, negotiation and closure.
• Coordinate with implementation and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding.
• Keep CRM records up‑to‑date and track pipeline activity.
• Stay informed on UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations and position the solution as compliant.
• Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions and industry forums.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 24 months of sales or business development experience, preferably in SaaS or accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet targets.
