Business Development Manager – Apple Pay E‑Commerce (Eastern)

About the role

Apple Pay is looking for an experienced Business Development and Account Management professional to drive merchant adoption of Apple Pay across e‑commerce platforms in the Middle East. The role is based in Dubai and works closely with Apple Pay business leaders, developer relations, product marketing and engineering teams to shape adoption strategies and deliver measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and build a strategic pipeline of prospective e‑commerce partners, creating a scalable approach to increase Apple Pay adoption.
• Engage decision‑makers across merchants, payment service providers and processors, guiding them through commercial value, technical feasibility and integration.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional internal teams to define product requirements, adoption plans, testing procedures and go‑to‑market launch programs.
• Manage ongoing partnerships, delivering new feature enhancements, strategic guidance and support to drive trial, usage and conversion.
• Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on adoption strategy, partner health and commercial results.

Required profile

• Deep experience in online payments and proven success promoting payment product adoption across diverse merchant segments, PSPs and processors.
• Strong business development and account management skills, able to advise both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to translate Apple Pay capabilities into practical adoption strategies and help partners overcome technical or systemic complexities.
• Track record of driving high‑impact adoption and account growth that meets key business metrics.
• Fluent English (Arabic preferred) and willingness to travel regionally.
