Business Development Manager - Catering

About the role

Careers International is recruiting a Business Development Manager for a catering company in Dubai. The role identifies, develops and maintains business opportunities, creates strategies to expand the client base and increase revenue, and builds long-term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify potential clients, trends and competitors, and analyse customer needs to tailor services.
• Generate leads through networking and cold calling, build a sales pipeline and meet or exceed sales targets.
• Prepare and present proposals and collaborate with internal teams to customise catering solutions.
• Negotiate terms and close deals and contracts in line with company policy and legal requirements.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and act as a liaison between clients and internal teams.
• Work with marketing, operations and culinary teams on promotions and service delivery.
• Identify new markets or segments and prepare regular reports on sales performance, trends and competitor activity.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• Proven experience in business development, sales or a related role in catering or hospitality.
• Strong understanding of the catering industry, market dynamics and customer behaviour.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Results-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
