Business Development Manager – FMCG

About the role

The Business Development Manager – FMCG will drive growth of GMG’s brand portfolio across the UAE, identifying and securing new brands and managing the complete commercial cycle from scouting to market launch.

Key responsibilities

• Scout and evaluate new FMCG brands and principals for inclusion in GMG’s portfolio.
• Conduct due‑diligence, landed‑cost and margin modelling, and build detailed business cases.
• Lead commercial negotiations, contract signing and post‑signature onboarding into GMG’s supply‑chain and regulatory framework.
• Develop and manage a sub‑distributor network, defining territories, margin structures, stock commitments and performance KPIs.
• Open new B2B revenue streams across additional channels.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, QA/Regulatory, Legal and Sales teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG business development or brand acquisition.
• Proven track record of signing and launching brands with measurable profit contribution.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage end‑to‑end processes.
• Experience working with supply‑chain, finance, marketing and regulatory functions.
• Excellent negotiation skills and fluency in English.
• Good knowledge of the UAE market and distribution landscape.
