Business Development Manager - UAE, Saudi Arabia and Gulf region

About the role

Harwin, a global leader in high-reliability interconnect solutions, is establishing a new company in the UAE and seeks a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf region. The role will shape regional success, build strategic customer relationships and deliver measurable commercial results.

Key responsibilities

• Execute Harwin’s regional sales strategy across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Gulf markets.
• Identify, develop and win new business opportunities with OEMs, engineering and procurement teams.
• Strengthen existing customer and distributor relationships to increase share‑of‑wallet and design‑in activity.
• Promote Harwin’s portfolio of high‑reliability connectors and cable assemblies.
• Lead design‑in and design‑win projects from concept through to production orders.
• Manage forecasting, pipeline development, opportunity tracking and CRM activity.
• Gather and communicate market intelligence, competitive insights and customer requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales within aerospace, defence, industrial technology or related high‑tech sectors.
• Strong track record of opening new accounts and expanding existing relationships.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with OEM engineering and procurement stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously and travel across the Gulf region as needed.
