Business Studies & Economics Teacher – Start Jan 2027

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a qualified Teacher of Business Studies & Economics to join its Abu Dhabi schools from January 2027. The role involves delivering the UK National Curriculum, creating an engaging, play‑based learning environment and supporting students’ academic and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that meet the needs of a full ability range, using creative and enthusiastic teaching methods.
• Organise classroom resources, displays and learning materials to foster a positive learning atmosphere.
• Assess student progress, record data in Target Tracker and use assessment results to inform further planning and interventions.
• Manage behaviour in line with school policy, maintain high expectations and communicate progress to parents at conferences.
• Contribute to curriculum action groups, coordinate weekly extracurricular activities and use CPOMS for student welfare communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven teaching experience in the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international school setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Target Tracker assessment system.
• Experience using CPOMS for student welfare and communication.
