Cabin Services Assistant – A380 Shower Spa Specialist

About the role

The Cabin Services Assistant is responsible for the cleanliness, hygiene and personalisation of the A380 Shower Spa, ensuring First Class passengers enjoy a premium experience. The role also supports the upkeep of lavatories, lounges and general cabin areas, working closely with the Purser and Senior Flight Steward.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inventory control to confirm correct product quantities are loaded for onboard facilities.
• Inspect Shower Spa and lavatory cleanliness before boarding and place appropriate amenity items.
• Clean and sanitise the Shower Spa after each use, following the CSA Checklist.
• Personalise the Shower Spa for each reservation, displaying selected products as required.
• Prevent passenger entry once a Shower Spa has been personalised and alert the Purser of any scheduling delays.
• Maintain clean and tidy lavatories and cabin areas, completing the CSA Checklist regularly.
• Report any defects, unusual noises, smells or safety concerns to the Purser immediately.
• Adhere to uniform regulations, report for duty on time and follow the chain of command.

Required profile

• Minimum of 10 years of schooling or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of customer‑service experience with an international hotel chain, airline or world‑class service provider.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, safety‑critical cabin environment.

Required skills

• Inventory control and stock management.
• Knowledge of hygiene and cleaning procedures for aircraft cabins.
• Familiarity with using checklists to meet operational standards.
