CAD/BIM Technician – Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a skilled CAD/BIM Technician to support infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi, preparing and maintaining accurate engineering drawings and BIM models for roads, utilities, drainage, and related works.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare 2D CAD drawings and 3D BIM models for roads, utilities, drainage, sewerage, and infrastructure projects.
• Develop plans, profiles, sections, layouts, details, and construction drawings, and update them based on design changes and site requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve drawing/model clashes and produce as‑built drawings.
• Ensure all drawings meet project, QA/QC, and Abu Dhabi authority standards and maintain drawing registers and document control records.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, CAD, BIM, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience as a CAD/BIM Technician on infrastructure projects, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred).
• Experience with BIM coordination, clash detection, and producing as‑built models.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, levels, coordinates, and construction details.
