About the role
The Resident Engineer – Mechanical will lead the mechanical engineering portfolio for a high‑voltage power substation project in Abu Dhabi, overseeing design, construction supervision and client interfaces.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the mechanical engineering scope for 400kV/220kV/132kV power substation, including FPS, HVAC, MEP and lifting equipment.
- Supervise site activities to ensure construction follows approved designs and resolve non‑conformances.
- Plan, organise and oversee engineering and construction inspection activities.
- Perform close‑out and verify installed quantities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience.
Required skills
- Experience with FPS (Fire Protection Systems).
- HVAC system design and supervision.
- MEP coordination.
- Lifting equipment installation and commissioning.
