About the role
Ready to take your career to new heights? The Etihad Cadet Technician Programme offers UAE nationals a two‑year hands‑on training to become a licensed Aircraft Technician with one of the world’s fastest‑growing airlines.
Key responsibilities
- Complete the GCAA‑approved training syllabus and meet all programme requirements.
- Maintain a minimum 75 % pass rate for all module exams and comply with GCAA, training institute and Etihad performance standards.
- Execute scheduled work, log tasks, and pass mandatory technical competency assessments.
- Ensure all maintenance work is performed safely and in accordance with company procedures and GCAA regulations.
Required profile
- UAE national with a valid family book, aged 18‑29.
- High school certificate (or equivalent) with Maths/Physics/Science and at least 60 % overall.
- Strong command of English.
- Completed or exempted from UAE National Service (males only).
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights, and to wear the Etihad Tech uniform.
