Carpenter - Store Repairs and Fixtures

About the role
Sharaf DG is hiring a full-time Carpenter in Dubai to serve its retail stores across the UAE. The role covers repairs, installations and minor carpentry work in stores and offices, including day and night shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Repair and maintain doors, locks and their accessories, as well as metal fixtures and gypsum false ceilings
- Make new wooden units, cupboards, shelves, drawer units and workstations, and refurbish existing fixtures
- Install and arrange fixtures in stores and re-arrange workstations in offices
- Arrange materials from the local market for faulty fittings or new units, and prepare and forward material requests for approval
- Assist the electrician and painter when needed
Required profile
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in the carpentry field
- SSLC educational qualification, preferably
- Knowledge of fixtures and understanding of materials
