Senior Planning Engineer

About the role

KEO, an AEP/PMCM firm recognised as one of the Top 225 International Design Firms and ranked #1 in the Middle East by World Architecture's 2024 survey, is looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to join its team in Dubai, UAE. The role covers project controls, cost planning and scheduling, and project financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out regular project analysis, control activities, schedule development, maintenance, monitoring, impact identification and recovery plan development.
• Support project organisational and administrative activities and give general cost planning and scheduling guidance.
• Identify, analyse and propose innovative solutions to cost engineering and planning/scheduling problems.
• Run Project Controls programmes on assigned projects according to KEO Project Controls procedures.
• Review and approve earned revenue determination data, proposal financial summaries, project financial status reports and charge for project working capital calculations.
• Plan staffing needs for assigned projects and review contract drafts for adequate cost and scope definition.
• Coordinate data preparation for negotiations and prepare, coordinate and direct Project Controls presentations to KEO and clients.
• Prepare the Project Controls plan for assigned projects.

Required profile

• 8+ years of work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture.

Required skills

• Essential knowledge of Microsoft Office, Primavera and Microsoft Project.
