Cash Control Accountant

About the role

Miral Experiences is seeking a Cash Control Accountant to oversee cash operations across its leisure facilities in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures accurate cash handling, reporting, and compliance with internal controls while supporting month‑end closing and audits.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily cash handling activities, monitor cash movements, and coordinate with banks.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cash and sales reports, analyse variances and follow up with department supervisors.
• Post cash‑related journal entries, reconcile cash accounts and support period‑end closing.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, conduct spot audits and assist with internal and external audits.
• Troubleshoot cash management system issues and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance, accounting or banking.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a cash‑handling environment.
• Higher secondary qualification or diploma; bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Experience with Oracle (Cash Management and AP modules).
• Familiarity with OMNI and InfoGenesis systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
