Centre Manager - Edutainment & Events

About the role

The Centre Manager owns and leads the overall performance of the centre, driving commercial results, operational excellence, team capability and guest experience. The role covers budgets, sales and performance targets, inventory management and compliance, with monthly revenue driven by ATV growth, upselling and floor-level sales.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end centre operations, facility readiness, safety, cleanliness and minor maintenance, and plan staffing and duty rosters with the Area Manager
• Oversee events, camps, promotions and special activities with Marketing and Regional teams; ensure visual merchandising meets brand guidelines
• Deliver the Orange Wheels "magical experience", handle escalated guest concerns, analyse feedback and respond to online reviews daily
• Own weekly, monthly and annual revenue targets, design sales action plans, track KPIs (revenue, conversion, footfall, average spend, utilisation) and manage daily cash and float control
• Drive birthday party conversions, manage inventory, stock control, vendor coordination and wastage monitoring
• Lead, coach and develop Team Leaders and staff, run orientation, buddy and on-the-job training, conduct performance reviews and enforce discipline and attendance standards
• Maintain relationships with mall/property management, schools and communities, and face external audits and inspections

Required profile

• Graduate degree
• 8 to 10 years of overall experience, including 3 to 5 years handling a store or large team with financial targets
• Relevant certifications in sales in edutainment, entertainment, education, event management or hospitality management
