Chartered Accountant – Construction Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to lead the financial function of our construction business in Dubai. The role involves overseeing all accounting, budgeting and reporting activities for multiple building projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the company’s financial planning, budgeting and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Prepare, review and present financial statements, management accounts and periodic reports.
• Control project costs, monitor profitability and ensure accurate accounting of contracts, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Handle VAT, corporate tax, statutory audits and ensure compliance with UAE accounting regulations.
• Maintain strong financial controls, coordinate with auditors, banks and government authorities.
• Review contracts, payment applications, invoices and LPOs for financial accuracy.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management for cost control and strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with at least 10 years of professional experience.
• Proven background in the UAE construction or contracting sector.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE VAT, corporate tax and local accounting standards.
• Strong analytical, leadership and communication abilities.
